Bratislava & Vienna Shutter Diary

A shutter diary of my recent trip to Bratislava & Vienna. Will hopefully get round to actually editing these photos in the near future after which I might create a new version which pauses on the "good(?)" edited photos. For those interested in the technicals...All photos were taken on a Canon EOS 50D with a variety of lenses (10-22mm, 24-70mm & 85mm). Once converted to DNG and imported into Lightroom I exported small jpegs of all the photos (minus the under and over exposed images as part of an HDR sequence) and added these to imovie 09 which compiled them into a sequence and allowed me to add music and titles etc.

The Digital Rebel T1i Faces the Competition

Not that it makes a difference as much as you can imagine, but the D90 Digital SLR has a tiny (12.3MP) image sensor as an affordable T1i Rebel (15.1MP). With these data and applying a little common sense would not lead to a technical person to believe that the Digital Rebel is by far the smarter buy T1i. Is the Rebel T1i the Smarter Choice?

If your someone who is interested in technical data as you see it, the Canon Rebel SLR T1i has a 15.1MP image sensor, and the more expensive Nikon D90 has a 12.3mega-pixel image sensor. If these specifications have you needed, then it would be reasonably obvious that the T1i Rebel SLR is the best digital camera for the money today. The fact that only in the light of the numbers, you do not understand the big picture here. Bigger is often notbetter. Megapixels is often a large part of the sales of digital cameras, Fuji, Nikon and other manufacturers know that only too well.
