The EOS Rebel T1i EF is Quite Remarkable

Not that it makes a difference as much as you can expect, but the D90 Digital SLR has a tiny (12.3MP) image sensor than the less expensive EOS Rebel T1i EF (15.1MP). If these specifications have all the information you had, it seems appropriate to open-and close-that is the T1i Rebel SLR, the finest single-lens reflex camera for the money today.

Unfortunately for SLR buyers, this is not necessarily the case. There were some better image sensors (Canon 40D), thecould have been used in the design of T1i.

I'm sure you've learned in some of my other articles, that more megapixels does not immediately timpani making great pictures. The image sensor is large enough to handle the extra megapixels.

To achieve a higher rate megapixel Canon has a design decision on the pixels rather than close together, and slightly smaller pixels than the D90 digital SLR use. It is most commonly used way more pixels into a smallerSensor. This contributes to a specification known as pixel density. When it comes to T1i is about 50% higher than the D90 digital SLR. Of 4.5 for the EOS Rebel T1i EF, and 3.3 for the D90 digital SLR.

With a higher pixel density can cause a number of problems. For research on lenses for your SLR camera, megapixel is another thing that plays into this purchase. The better the lens with high resolution capabilities, designed to work with more megapixels are notusually the less expensive lenses.

Canon has decided that the EF-S 3,5-5,6 18-55mm IS package with the T1i Rebel SLR, and it would not be my lens of choice for a digital SLR camera, 15.1 megapixels supported. In this humble writer, belief, better zoom lens for SLR T1i would be far advanced, 18-200mm Canon EF-S were.

Other important SLR camera features, such as diffraction, dynamic range, ISO, and can be negatively affected by higher pixel density. The closer you areat higher megapixel T1i, the less a convincing argument that the company has about the Nikon D90.

Industrial Bank uses a digital camera brand to RAW-rate sensor information, the DX-O-Mark test. Testing between the EOS 50D (same image sensor used by the T1i) compared to the Nikon D90 DX show the Nikon D90 12.3MP capable of much more. There is every reason to believe that new EOS Rebel T1i EF test results line up with the EOS 50D data.
